Taught by certified modern dance teacher Audrey Lanoux, this workshop aims to explore amusing and iconic moves coming from three of the main modern dance techniques: Graham, Horton and Cunningham. It will include warm up exercises in the centre, combos and choreography, as well as travelling exercises and jumps. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR/À PROPOSE DE L'INSTRUCTRICEAudrey Lanoux (she/her)  is a French-Canadian artist trained in France, the United Kingdom and Canada. As a certified Graham and Horton techniques teacher, she teaches modern and contemporary dance to teenagers and adults in the Ottawa-Gatineau region since 2021. She also offers workshops for drama students and is a guest artist for Centre d’Excellence Artistique de l’Ontario, and for Académie des Arts de Béatrice-Desloges. Moreover, she is a performer and choreographer for the Voices Dance Project company. Audrey loves exploring unexpected dance fusions, such as Graham technique and Argentine tango, or Graham technique and disco. Her choreographies have been performed several times in Ontario, in particular for Alchemy Fest 2024 and 2025, and at the franco-ontarian festival in Sudbury last September. Audrey est une artiste franco-canadienne formée en France, au Royaume-Uni et au Canada. Professeure certifiée de techniques Graham et Horton, elle enseigne ces techniques ainsi que la danse contemporaine à des adolescents et adultes dans la région d’Ottawa-Gatineau depuis 2021. Elle offre aussi des ateliers pour des étudiants en théâtre et fait partie des artistes invités du CEAO et de l’Académie des Arts de Béatrice-Desloges.
